The county has excellent walking and hiking, try Geocaching in the  Shropshire Hills in the south of the county, rafting on the River Severn or explore the meres and mosses in the north.

The County has a well deserved foodie reputation, home to the first Food Festival in Ludlow but now joined by many more around the county.
