I was delighted that Alistair Sawday was given the opportunity in the Daily Telegraph to respond to Tim Lott's article Wish You Weren't Here deriding the inadequecies of the Great British B&B. Clearly for Tim, it took less time and imagination to write the "let's tell everyone how rubbish we were back in the 70's and 80's" than spend serious time learning about the quality food, upgraded and refurbished rooms and outstanding experience you find at Farm Stay, Sawdays and many other B&B and self-catering organisations. I have broken all of the rules of blogging - I have been away and it has been 3 months since my last entry.
