The Lodge Cottage is situated at the original entrance to Spixworth Park and is a self contained cottage with its own garden just inside the gates surrounded by snowdrop and bluebell woods.
The modern kitchen and dining area has lovely views over the garden and you can watch the numerous birds and small mammals from the window. If you are lucky you may even see deer and foxes.
There is a cosy living room with oil fired central heating and a wood burning stove. The two bedrooms look onto the garden and there is a bathroom with over the bath shower. The cottage is all on one level and is very suitable for people with mobility impairment but the old cottage doors are too narrow for wheel chair users.
There is a utility room with washing machine, tumble drier and deep freeze.
The cottage is close to the bus route with a frequent service into Norwich and therefore suitable for people using public transport , however there is also ample car parking close to the cottage.
From the cottage you can also walk to local pubs, walk through woodland and by hedgerows and use the fishing lake, swimming pool and playbarn situated in various sites on our 700 acre farm.
