The ancient city of Lincoln offers a castle complete with battlements, court house, prison and the Brayford Waterfront. A short walk from the castle is ones of the most spectacular cathedrals in England, with mighty towers stretching high into the Lincolnshire skies and dominating the skyline for miles around. And make your way down the aptly named Steep Hill, where you’ll find lots of independent shops, cafes and restaurants offering some great Lincolnshire produce. After visiting Lincoln why not visit the historic aviation monument nearby and appreciate the areas proud aviation history.
