Yorkshire Dales National Park

The Yorkshire Dales National Park includes some of the finest limestone scenery in the UK, from crags and pavements to an underground labyrinth of caves. Each valley has its own distinct character, set against heather moorlands. Stone-built villages sit amongst traditional farming landscapes of field barns, drystone walls and hay meadows. Spectacular waterfalls and woodlands contrast with the scattered remains of former mine workings and other rural industries.

There are a range of shows, festivals and events. Go walking, or take to two wheels to go cycling or mountain biking.
