Hornton Grounds is a large peaceful house with the emphasis on comfort. Set on a working farm with livestock all around. Four double bedrooms to choose from. We try to produce jams to bread to flowers for the house from our garden and the farm. We offer an award winning breakfast and are proud to have been awarded AA Friendliest B and B award. Lovely opportunities to walk around the farm or play tennis or croquet.

An imposing grade II listed farmhouse offering spacious rooms with all the warmth and modern comforts essential for the perfect relaxing stay. Welcoming local pubs and abundant wildlife are only a short walk away.

Guests are invited to stay in our lovely house which offers a very comfortable lounge with TV and log fires in winter and French windows leading outside on to the patio for sunny days to relax looking over our gardens and listen to the wonderful birdlife in the surrounding trees, maybe spot one of our woodpeckers.

Real farmhouse breakfasts are served in the Breakfast room which has a wonderful large inglenook fireplace. We use our own fresh eggs from our rare breed hens and locally sourced sausage and bacon from pigs reared on our farm. For those wanting a lighter breakfast we offer a continental breakfast with homemade bread and homemade preserves and fresh coffee.

 We offer a choice of three double bedrooms and one twin bedded room.

Hornton Grounds is just off the A 422 between Banbury and Stratford upon Avon on the edge of the County boundary of Oxfordshire and Warwickshire.

From Junction 12 on the M40 Gaydon follow the brown tourist signs for Upton House drive past Upton on the A422 heading for Banbury. Just after entering Oxfordshire take first turning left and follow the long drive upto the trees. Hornton Grounds is just past the tennis court. Parking is in front of the house.
