The Hut and bell tent are situated in a 22 acre woodland at the heart of our family farm. Surrounded by nature, sit back and enjoy the sights and sounds of our local wildlife.

The perfect escape, come and enjoy the private facilities in an idyllic location. On sunny evenings relax on the veranda overlooking the pond or snuggle up in front of the wood burner after a day of exploring. With spectacular local wildlife including deer, hares and kingfisher all being spotted within the vicinity the hut and bell tent are both fabulous places to enjoy the peace and unwind. Both sites are entirely off grid meaning no 240 volt (3 pin plug) charging is available. In the hut, USB sockets provide our guests with charging facilities also powering LED lights inside and out.

If mains charging is essential we can facilitate this in our accommodation on the farm. We provide washing up liquid, hand soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner – all of these products are biodegradable, and we encourage their use due to our wastewater handling.

During the summer and when dry, vehicles are parked a short walk from the hut and bell tent. During the winter months cars are parked in our farm buildings which is a 10 minute walk. On your arrival and departure we will drop off and collect you and your bags, any additional items during your stay will be your own responsibility. When wet, wellies or appropriate outdoor footwear and clothing is required to get to and from the hut.

You will be sharing the woodland with a range of wildlife with foxes and deer frequently moving through the area and therefore do not accept dogs. Mallard ducks and moorhens raise their young on the pond through the summer months. The woodland is filled with elderflower, wild raspberries and blackberries during spring and summer.

Please note check in is between 4pm - 8pm. Late check ins may be possible by prior arrangement but must be no later than 10pm. We do not live on site so appreciate if you can keep us updated on your arrival time.

The nearest amenities are 3 miles away in the village of Maiden Newton, there is a village shop providing local produce, a well-stocked Spar and petrol station. Bridport is our nearest town, large supermarkets and a range of shops are available. There is a great local market on Saturday mornings.

We currently do not accept bookings more than 6 months in advance.
