Nestling in the beautiful Alkham Valley, these newly converted flint farm buildings offer a variety of cosy rooms for family and friends and we offer a delicious cooked breakfast.


There are 3 separate accommodation units, (the Dairy that sleeps 2, the Calf Shed that can sleep up to 5 and the Byre that can sleep up to 6,) plus the Albion Breakfast room, all set around a central lawn, each with their own terrace for that lovely summer evening BBQ or peaceful morning coffee.
It is also ideally suited to a family/ friends reunion, where all 3 units could be booked along with use of the Albion Breakfast room for indoor picnic/ takeaway gathering all to yourselves, catering for up to 11 people. You are welcome to meet our animals too.

 Chilton Farmyard is situated on a multitude of footpaths and bridleways, making it an ideal base to explore the surrounding countryside, whether walking or cycling and your dog is very welcome too. The ruins of St Radigund’s Abbey and the newly restored Kearnsey Abbey gardens are well within walking distance. We enjoy making dogs welcome and for cyclists, we can provide lockable storage & a bike cleaning area.

The B&B is part of the working farm, where you could get to meet the 'critically' rare breed Albion Cattle or the resident ponies, or perhaps see the sunset on top of the ‘Spur’ amongst the unique downland plant life and butterflies. The nearby towns like Folkestone, Deal & Sandwich are also within easy reach, as are attractions such as Dover castle, and the Castle and gardens at Walmer. There are also many beaches and coastal paths to discover, not to mention some great local pubs and restaurants.

There is one luxury king sized bed, along with comfy chairs & an ottoman. There is a wall mounted TV & tea making facilities.

There is plenty of storage, hanging space & lighting with a modern en-suite bathroom with a luxurious bath with central taps.

" What a comfy bed! And we loved the view from the window; just beautiful!."

The Dairy has its own stylish terrace & a communal fruit tree lined pathway & lawn. The breakfast room can often also be available eg.if the baby needs an extra meal!.

There is good wifi throughout all the buildings. All our rooms are dog friendly. We also have a travel cot with mattress available. Please ask if you have any more enquiries.

Beautiful bridleways & footpaths lead off from beside the building. If interested, you can be introduced to the cattle & ponies.

Many good places to eat nearby and Uber eats deliver. Microwave and fridge for guest use.

There are 2 adult sized bunk beds and a cabin bed with storage underneath at one end. At the other end is the sitting room with 2 settees & the wall mounted TV & tea making facilities.

Between the two rooms is a lobby with plenty of storage & entrance to the modern bathroom with shower.

" I loved this room as we could put our children to bed at one end & have more time together at the other."

The Byre has its own pretty terrace & a communal fruit tree lined pathway & lawn. The breakfast room can often also be available eg.If a takeaway is brought back.

It has a ramped entrance to allow for easy access. There is one luxury double bed with 1 generous sized bunk bed, along with  comfy chairs & bean bags. There is a wall mounted TV & tea making facilities.

There is plenty of storage, hanging space & lighting with a modern en-suite bathroom with shower.

On Googlemaps as Chilton Farmyard B&B  What3words: hurry.codes.props Post code : CT15 7DR From A20, come along Alkham Valley Road, through Alkham, past Wolverton Kennels on left. When you see a warning road sign for horse riders, indicate right & turn down a steep drive. Take left hand fork on the drive & the B&B carpark is in front of the buildings.

From Kearsney, drive towards Folkestone with Kearsney Abbey on the left & Bushy Ruff gardens on the right, after passing the last 2 houses on the left before trees take over, take the next drive on the left. This long drive does have a B&B sign & goes along parallel with the road. Bear left at the end & the B&B carpark is in front of the buildings.
