Gloucestershire Self Catering
Enjoy the diversity of the Cotswolds and Gloucestershire by staying in one of our self catering properties. From Cotswold stone barns to farm cottages to "Glamping", there are plenty of ways to self cater in the Cotswolds and beyond.
With easy access from London, and on the M4/M5 corridor the Cotswolds and Gloucestershire are ideal for an escape to the country for a family holiday or long weekend.
Farmstay offers quality accommodation, in peaceful, tranquil and even remote areas just a few hours from London and other major cities.
Once here as a self caterer, you will be overwhelmed with the choice of fresh, local and organic produce on offer from Farmers Markets, Farm shops and on the local high street in our market towns.
Local food producers include, Charles Martell from Dymock, famous for his Stinking Bishop and single Gloucester Cheeses and Simon Weaver from the Cotswolds for his Brie.
There are also micro breweries in the area, with Wickwar Brewey and Severn Cider, with Westons Cider just over the border in Herefordshire.
Don't forget all the Free range Eggs, Gloucetershire Old Spot Pork and sausages and locally grown lamb and beef.
If you fancy a night off cooking there are many local pubs and restaurants that serve amazing local seasonal produce at great prices. Alternatively, we have a choice of Michelin starred pubs or restaurants in the towns and countryside across Gloucestershire.
Of course some of the farms you stay on will be able to supply you their own seasonal produce at the farm door, never fresher !
Once you have feasted on all this food, time to enjoy the countryside with a walk, including the Cotswold way, Severn Way and Sculpture trail in the Forest of Dean.
So, if self catering is your ideal holiday, why not come and explore the Cotswolds, Severn vale and Forest of Dean. At the same time sampling the great food that many of us produce on our farms.
