well as many rides. Alton Towers  is Britain’s largest theme park and therefore has more than enough rides for children, both young and old, including the popular CBeebies Land for the pre-schoolers.

Trentham Monkey Forest just outside of Stoke is another fantastic day out for children. Children will love walking through the forest and seeing the free-roaming macaque colonies; a unique experience sure to fire the imagination.

The National Forest Adventure Farm near Burton-upon-Trent is also a superb family day out. This award winning family farm and adventure park is a great opportunity for children to meet and feed animals, as well as exploring the interactive fun-field and to play in the huge indoor play-barn. There are bouncy castles, mazes and a sandpit with buckets and spades that toddlers and smaller children can play with.
