Worcestershire is not just best enjoyed by adults; the kids can have a blast too, making this county the perfect release. Soft play centres, expansive mystical woods and outdoor swimming pools ensure there is never a dull moment for the youngsters, meaning you can either get some quiet time or join in the splashing! The play centres are packed full of features: multiple levels, ball pits and jumbo slides, and the forests are brimming with wildlife. Unfortunately there are no adult play centres, so those looking for some jumbo sized ball pits will have to look elsewhere.

Spend a sunny day bathing on sun terraces while the kids play in the pool, or join in the water cannon fun at Droitwich Spa Lido. If a more relaxed trip is on the cards, take the kids down to the waterfront with some rice and oats (not bread, it can cause digestion problems!) and feed the swans. The parks are also great for a family stroll; you never know when a wild play area might appear from the bushes.
