Degembris is a family run Grade II listed complex of 3 attractively furnished self-catering cottages situated in the tranquil Cornish countryside. All cottages provide everything you need for a relaxing break away, a home from home. Our grounds encompass a recently seeded wildflower meadow, our fly-fishing lake, small orchard and bluebell filled woodland all there for you to explore. Degembris has a great central location, making us an ideal base for you to discover the whole of Cornwall and if you need anything during your stay, we are here on site to help. 😊

Here at Degembris it’s all about slowing down, taking time to rest, relax and unwind. For many years the cottages were home to many agricultural enterprises but now provide shelter and comfort for the more discerning guest!

Inside, The Stiddle features a king size double bedroom and a super king double/ twin bedded room, both with en-suite facilities. The cottage is mostly on one level, with just three steps leading to the double bedroom, making it accessible and convenient.

The open-plan living area includes a cosy kitchen and dining space, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The cottage is centrally heated with an electric wood burner, ensuring year-round comfort.

Car arrival:

From Bodmin (bypass) take the A30 heading west (approximately fifteen miles). Take left off dual carriageway signposted Summercourt - Newquay A3058. This brings you into Summercourt village. At the traffic lights, turn right (sign posted Newquay A3058) take the third turning left signposted St Newlyn East approximately two miles from Summercourt. Then second lane on the left signposted Degembris Farmhouse & Cottages.
