Get back to nature by surrounding yourself in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside.

Relax gazing up at our amazing dark skies and be mesmerized by a crackling campfire.

Tucked away nestled against woodland, beyond the campsite, we have two traditional, hand-built shepherd’s huts, perfect for a cosy getaway.

Minimum two night stay.  For single night stay please contact us.

INSIDE

Each hut sleeps 2 in a double bed, all the bedding and sheets are provided and made up ready – this is easy camping.

No need to worry about being cold, as each hut has a little wood burner.

The huts have all the crockery/cutlery and basic cooking utensils, plus a little camping gas stove and kettle.  All you should need to bring with you is your clothes and your food.

OUTSIDE

Each hut has its own private outside area, with a picnic bench, outside chairs, BBQ, and fire pit.

Both have use of their own beautiful Shower Shack and Compost toilet, but it is only a 300-meter walk to the utility barn for an indoor bathroom and kitchen sink etc.

BREAKFAST HAMPER

A delicious breakfast hamper will be delivered to your shepherd’s hut door each morning. With a choice of either continental or traditional farm house bacon and egg butties.  (Specific dietary requirements can be catered for with prior notice).

The huts are truly off-grid. They are powered by solar panels.

Each Bell Tent is set up to sleep 4, in wooden beds on real foam mattresses.

Please note bedding is NOT provided.

Cups, plates, bowls, cutlery (for 4 people), basic cooking equipment and a camping gas stove and kettle is provided in the Bell Tent.  One battery powered lantern is in the Bell Tent, but would be a good idea to bring another torch to get to the utility block in the dark.

OUTSIDE

Each Bell Tent has its own picnic bench and a small shade canopy.  There is plenty of space in front of the Bell Tent, so you are more than welcome to bring your own gazebo etc if you wish – the campsite can be quite a sun trap.

CAMPFIRES & BBQS

There is nothing like gazing into a campfire under a dark stary sky.  So here campfires are welcome, but must be off the ground in a fire bowl.  Fire bowls and BBQs can be borrowed on site at the utility block, along with logs kindling and BBQ fuel to buy in the honesty shop.
