‘Tamworth’ is a charming characterful cottage, with ancient period oak beams, vaulted ceiling and a warm, welcoming ambience. Built in the traditional Kentish style, historically, Tamworth was once a pigsty, but don’t let that deter you! Now graded 4 Stars, after a superior conversion, it's a comfortable and well equipped retreat where you can escape from it all.
The cottage sleeps 4 by way of a good sized double bedroom and a twin with two full size singles (additional travel cot bring own linen/ high chair can be provided). The triple aspect lounge come dining area provides a lovely place to relax and enjoys extensive views over the Rother Valley, with choice of sofa or armchairs, 42" Flat screen TV with Sky Free Sat, Radio, DVD player and free WiFi. The dining area, with table and seating for 4, completes the space, along with fully equipped kitchen, including gas cooker, microwave, fridge / freezer compartment, washer / dryer machine, iron and ironing board. The family bathroom features a bath with electric shower over, hand basin and WC. Hair dryer provided.
The cottage faces south west and the large private garden has uninterrupted views over open countryside. Peaceful fields border the cottage to the front and you can watch the sheep grazing right up to the garden fence! There are exclusive farm trails for guests to enjoy.The patio area makes a lovely outdoor dining area complete with garden table, chairs, & relaxer chairs and cushions. Double glazed, central heating and generously furnished throughout, there is a parking area for two cars adjacent to the property. Bed linen is provided (bring own cot linen), along with a complimentary welcome pack on arrival. Personally supervised and a family business for 40+ years.
