Perfect for unwinding and getting back to nature. Two comfortable and individual cottages on an organic farm, where animals and nature abound. An opportunity to learn about farming and eco-living

We offer an idyllic and peaceful get-away from the hustle and bustle of modern living. On our 200 acre farm there are sheep, pigs, cattle, hens, pigmy goats, Welsh mountain ponies, and abundant wildlife. Fresh spring water flows from the taps, you can collect eggs for supper, melt marshmallows over the campfire or simply lay back and gaze as the stars twinkle above. There is walking onto Y Mynydd Du and Fforest Fawr Geopark from your doorstep. Being in the Western of the Park we are able to offer natural, wild beauty by day and pristine sky at night.

The environment is at our core with organic farming in our hearts we have tried to make our home and cottages as environmentally friendly as possible.  We have a micro-hydro system to produce electricity, supplemented by solar-thermal hot water in the summer.  All heating is produced by our large batch biomass boiler. Recharge your batteries for free with Welsh rainwater - your car battery, using our micro-hydro produced electricity. Fresh eggs, organic pork, beef, lamb are available during your stay, while shops and pubs are a short drive away (5 miles).

We are in an idyllic rural location position 12 miles west of Brecon but only a hour from Cardiff, Swansea, Carmarthen and Hereford. There is much to see and do on and around the farm but a little further afield including Saint Fagans, Big Pit, Blaenavon UNESCO Heritage site,  Aberglasney Gardens and The National Botanic Garden of Wales.
