Stanborough Farm is a working farm with an excellent location for exploring the South Hams.

The Farm is 6 miles from Totnes, Kingsbridge and Dartmouth with Salcombe just a little further, plenty of beaches around and super coastline to walk. If you are National Trust members there are some lovely properties and gardens to visit. Boat and Steam Train trips are also very popular in the area. There are 2 village pubs within walking distance of the farm both providing good food and if you stay at the farm for 6 nights or more you get one free evening meal at the farm using as much local produce as possible. Parking is good, garden and garden room to sit in when ever and two rooms which can be double, twin or single both with ensuite shower room, tv and tea tray. Good bus routes at Halwell and train station at Totnes.

Best to ignore Satnav!! From Exeter take signs to Totnes and once in Totnes head for Kingsbridge.  You will drive through 2 villages Harbertonford and Halwell.  Just as you are driving out of Halwell on the right take the road for Moreleigh (also says village hall) go down the dip, over the little bridge and up the other side until you reach Stanborough Farm on the left.

There us also an excellent train service to Totnes and a good bus service to Halwell as the bus heads for Dartmouth, Kingsbridge & Salcombe.
