Catanger Farm has the pleasure of offering a traditional gypsy caravan and a shepherd’s hut for you to stay in. Each bespoke dwelling occupies their own secluded location on the farm. Relax and enjoy everything Catanger has to offer you, exploring the 20 acres of native woodland, watching baby llamas play or just drinking in the views and appreciating the tranquility.

Nestled in our woods, yet only a mere 50 yards to the amenities is our luxurious shepherd’s hut; Foxes Retreat. Hand built to our specification of wood and steel is a light, spacious, romantic place for two. Be at one with nature with stunning views at every turn; through the woods, for miles over neighbouring farmland as far as the eye can see and of course the llamas! A comfortable double bed (2 futons available for children), modern table and chairs, a wood burning stove and a balcony for cooking on a camp gas grill and relaxing. You also have a fire pit with seating for BBQ’s or just toasting your marshmallows whilst watching the sun set. Charcoal is provided per night for your evening meal.

Further down our land in a picturesque open spot just on the edge of the woods is our hand crafted, bow topped gypsy caravan; Hares View, providing a little touch of quirky charm. Decorated traditionally this wooden beauty has a cosy double bed for two adults. Firepit and camp fire area for outdoor cooking, charcoal is provided per night for your evening meal but you are welcome to bring your own wood for the campfire or use our 20 acre woodland and get foraging! There is also plenty of grass to play or relax on. We are happy for you to bring tents for extra friends or older children at an additional cost, great venue for hen parties or family gatherings. You have the breath taking endless views of our farm and hares playing in the paddocks (hence the name), the llamas almost up to your door and the surrounding farm lands and all your facilities are right next door, exclusively for you. Consisting of camping loo and shower with kitchen/utility area with camp gas grill.

POSTCODE – NN12 8FN

CATANGER is just outside the village of LOIS WEEDON on the WAPPENHAM road. Look for the sign in the gateway and follow the drive down to the buildings. M40 Exit junction 11 for BANBURY and take the A422 towards BRACKLEY for approx. 1 mile. At the roundabout at the top of the hill turn LEFT onto the B 4525. Continue for another 3 miles and take LEFT turn signposted THORPE MANDEVILLE. Follow this road for another 3 miles to the CULWORTH/WESTON crossroads. Turn RIGHT towards WESTON. Drive through WESTON and LOIS WEEDON. CATANGER is on the Wappenham Road out of LOIS WEEDON. As you leave LOIS WEEDON you will see two farm drives on your right followed by a sharp right hand bend with a lodge house on the right. We are the second field on the left from the bend. Look for the sign, follow the drive down to the buildings. M1 Exit junction 15a and take the A43 towards OXFORD. At TOWCESTER follow the ring road to the south and at the last roundabout (McDonald’s) take a right turn signposted ABTHORPE and WAPPENHAM. Drive through Abthorpe and onto Wappenham and in the middle of the village turn RIGHT signposted LOIS WEEDON and WESTON. CATANGER is about 2 miles from Wappenham and is on your right just before you reach LOIS WEEDON (often named Weedon Lois)! Look out for the sign at the gate and follow the drive down to the buildings.
