Bird watchers are well catered for with the largest sea bird colony in the country at Bempton, the bird reserve at Spurn Point where many migratory birds stop off and the largest freshwater lake at Hornsea Mere.

 

For the golfer there are championship golf courses to whet the appetite. Other areas of interest include the spectacular Humber Bridge, the ocean discovery of The Deep in Hull, the wonderful Hull Marina and Fort Paull, a military Napoleonic Fort with a labyrinth of tunnels.  
Burnby Hall is home to the largest collection of water lilies in Europe.

Lots to do for children with Honeysuckle Farm petting farm at Hornsea, William's Den Adventure Play near Beverley, Hi-Lo Ropes or just a day at one of the many beaches.
